About the Role

We are looking for an HR Intern who wants to learn how HR works across different areas of an organisation. This role will provide hands-on exposure to recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, payroll, performance management, and other HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Assist with sourcing and screening candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates.
  • Maintain candidate trackers and recruitment records.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees.
2. HR Operations
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with attendance, leave, and employee data management.
  • Support HRMS activities and employee queries.
  • Assist in preparing HR letters, documents, and reports.
3. Employee Engagement
  • Support planning and execution of employee engagement activities, celebrations, and events.
  • Assist in collecting employee feedback and coordinating internal initiatives.
4. Payroll & Compliance
  • Assist in collecting and validating payroll inputs such as attendance, leaves, incentives, and deductions.
  • Learn and support basic HR statutory processes such as PF, ESIC, LWF, and other compliance activities.
  • Coordinate with employees for payroll-related queries when required.
5. Performance Management
  • Assist in the performance appraisal process and maintaining KRA/KPI records.
  • Support performance review documentation and follow-ups.
6. Learning & Development
  • Assist in organising training sessions and maintaining training records.
  • Coordinate with employees and trainers for training requirements.
7. HR Policies & Process
  • Support in drafting and updating HR policies, SOPs, and internal communication.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes.
8. General HR Support
  • Handle day-to-day HR activities and employee queries.
  • Prepare HR reports, trackers, and MIS as required.
  • Work closely with the HR team on ongoing projects and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Strong willingness to learn and take ownership.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
